Grasses that grow well here from seed: bahia, Bermuda, carpet, centipede, and zoysia. Rye is used for overseeding. Other grasses to grow from sprigs, plugs, or sod only include hybrid Bermuda, seashore paspalum, St. Augustine, and some zoysias.
